I agree, the black skinny pants with a bright colored shoe and maybe some colorful jewlery.
I would wear that top with skinny black pants and black heels. Your legs will look much longer than if you wore a different color shoes.
If you want to add a hit of color, carry a bright colored clutch.
If you don't want to go black pants, why not a color-- blue, red, green, purple? I've seen all kinds of skinny pants at the mall in every color.
@julies1949: Nevermind, I think I agree with you! I never though about making your legs look longer that way, you're a genius.

Hi ladies,
So a few weeks ago, I bought this ivory sequin top at Express for new years. Problem is, I don't know what to wear on my lower half! All I can think of it black skinny pants with black heels, but I feel the contrast might be too much.
Any suggestions...or should I look for something else? Keep in mind, the shirt looks better in person...it looks kind of blah in this pic. And the top is ivory, even though it looks white in this pic. And this is not me!
