What about Heavenly Day by Patty Griffin?
Oooh, my vote is for Shelter by Ray LaMontagne. You can't go wrong with Ray. :)
And, just to possibly add to your list(?), we decided to go with Van Morrison's "These Are the Days." Not sure if it will resonate with you or not, but thought I'd share!
i just love Ray LaMontagne... so i have no choice but to vote for him :) he has the most captivating voice... *sigh*

Such a decision, such a decision. There are so many fantastic songs out there. If I could mesh them all into one for the perfect tune, that would be just great. But since we can't, we're still tossing around ideas. Here's our current list of options:
"Shelter"- Ray LaMontagne
"Fade Into You"- Mazzy Star
"Northern Sky"- Nick Drake
"Little Heaven"- Toad The Wet Sprocket
As you can tell, our music preferences lean more towards indie/folk rock, etc... we're not huge Top 40 peeps and don't care for typical first dance songs (i.e. At Last, Better Together, etc...). What would you choose from the above list? And if none of them, any other suggestions for the first dance that alines with our musical pref?
BTW- this list has been shortened from about 23 songs. Heeee... I can't promise it won't grow again.
