A lot of mens ties have patterns. Do you have any you like or dislike? I personally love paiseleys, so I like this one.

Or, if you want to brighten it up since the suits are black: try this one.

I haven’t shopped at the tie bar but heard good things about them for having a wide selection of reasonably priced ties. I would probably go to a store to view the colors in person.

Usually DB pairs up with Men’s Wearhouse.  Have you tried there?  I’m kind of surprised you can’t find matching ties.  But if you really can’t could you go with black or gray ties?

We matched up at Men’s Wearhouse.  My girls are also wearing Marine.  Men’s Wearhouse had two ties that went perfectly with it.  We went with a patterned one.  I think it was called midnight, if I remember correctly.  And we have Marine dresses plus tuxes with marine ties.  They go great together.  Fiance is wearing a gold tie however.

@mary-alice – have you ordered from the tie bar before?  those oranges seem perfect for my wedding but I am wondering what the quality is like.

Thanks!

Have you looked at tie bar?  They have the best ties and they are only $15 a piece.  They are very good quality for what you pay, comparable to what you would see in a department store.  I am also having dark blue dresses (J.Crew’s Lydia in Deep Atlantic) with hot pink shoes and the guys are wearing black tuxes.

I picked this tie:

I love them!! They are perfect for our look!

Ditto on the Tie Bar – we got ours from there and they are a great price.  The quality is nice for a $15 tie.
