I would go with either the single .5 (as pictured) or 2 .25.  The 2 .5s just take away your e-ring.  Your center stone is large, and with the 2 bands it just doesn’t pop as much.

Since you don’t have a picture of the 2 .25s I voted for the single band.  🙂

I think that the volume of them sort of overwhelms the senses, if that makes sense. They do sort of take away from the e-ring. Even with just one it pops more, so I’d imagine with two of smaller sizes you’d get more “pop” than you’re getting with the two larger ones. Plus, then you could still have two for symmetry (I’m the same way, so I get that, lol).

I think the photo with 1 bigger band looks good.

I like the one bigger band better. I think both of them take away from your engagement ring.

I really like the photo shown with just one .5 carat band, BUT if symmetry is really important I’d go with the 2 smaller bands… beautiful ering btw!

i like the one .5 ring. with 2 it looks like your ering is washed out.

i would do 1 .5 band or 2 .25 bands. can you go to a jewelry store and try on the 2 smaller bands? that will help you decide.

I actually posted the exact same question last week!  I went to try on two smaller bands and one regular band just like you and the one regular band just looked much better to me.  It looks more like a “bridal set” and the center stone doesn’t get lost in all the other bling. 🙂

Gorgeous rings! I would say either just the .5 on the bottom or two .25s.

    Best of luck deciding.

I really like the one .5!! I think that the two smaller ones may look good too, I just am not sure what difference the size would make. You have a gorgeous set regardless!

@socalfirewife: How big is your center stone?  With just one band, the center stone definitely looks much bigger than with two bands.  If you have your heart set on two bands, go with the smaller one because the center diamond really blends into the two surrounding bands in the first picture.
