This is my baby and I. His name is Stuart. I got him in May of 2009. I would like to find a pretty bag to put him in. Right now I’ve dragged him all over the state and am using a school bag=not good…so for the lines:
Depth (not shown)= 1.25″
Any ideas? TIA 🙂

I love that he has a name 🙂
I have a Swiss (think Swiss Army Knife) brand bag that my FI bought for me 3 years ago. It’s not the prettiest but its super durable. The brand is def worth the cost. There’s also a Coach laptop bag I’ve been lusting after but somehow I just can’t justify the $358 cost.

Oooh I love the Blue! And I name everything! And I mean it!
Wireless Internet: Sammer
We used to have 4 plants (we killed them): Sanford, Norton, Huebert, Patricia [RIP]
Mr.TKE: Sam (lol)
Ms.AXiD: Alan (nick-name)
(the S’s are simply a coincidence)

I love the Vera Bradley laptop portfolios. So pretty … and a nice hard “shell” to protect your laptop. Pockets, too!

I don’t have the heart to name my plants, becuase I know when I get them I WILL be their doom.

Hahahahaha we’ve killed every plant we’ve had. Except the ones Mr.TKE is growing now from seed: parsley, savory, garlic, garlic chives, regular chives, basil, and hot peppers…hope this goes well lol

Do you want room for other stuff? Like cords? Books? Wallet + cell + keys? Or just a sleeve for Stuart, to protect him inside your backpack?
Also, do you walk a lot that you’ll be carrying him, or is your bag mostly riding beside you on the passenger seat/bus seat/etc. ? I.E. how important are the ergonomics of this bag?

I’d like to go back to school but that’s not happening any time soon. So as for now, all I need room for are cords, wallet, cell, and 1 car key (lol). And he will be riding shot-gun (seriously Mr.TKE takes back seat when it comes to my baby <3) in Skittles.

Okay, a lot of these are pink. I’m sorry – that’s just because I love pink crap. If you search Amazon, you can find similar stuff in other colors, haha…
This is the kind of bag I use for my laptop – enough room for most of what normally fits in my purse, plus my computer:
I also really, really love purse style bags, because if you’re not comfortable leaving your laptop sit in the car (and really, who would be?) this is the most inconspicuous way to carry it:
You can also do a roomier sleeve, if you prefer to toss the whole thing into a bigger bag, or don’t mind having no (or less) handle/strap:
Or the most ergonomically friendly of the bunch, a backpack:
I tried to keep the prices reasonable; you can easily find stuff in the purse and backpack categories especially that goes over a hundred dollars – I personally never want to spend that much! Hopefully this didn’t overwhelm you too much 🙂 and was helpful!
