I’m really not too great with tips for how to run weddings (I’ve only been to three weddings my entire life!), and it all depends on how important a particular aspect is to you as to how much time you allocate. Also, you don’t have to have everything in this order, this is just that I personally think having speeches and dancing between courses to break things up makes it easier to keep guests interested Smile

.30 – guests start arriving, have a few drinks

.00 – bridal party arrives and is seated

.15 – begin serving the buffet entree (I’m assuming three courses?)

.00 – speeches

.15 – begin serving the main course

.15 – cut the cake, then first dance

.15 (or when people are starting to look tired/lose interest in dancing) – serve dessert. When people are finished, they can either mingle, or go back to dancing

.30 – bouquet/garter toss, a bit more mingling, then you and your hubby head off at 11

Hope that was of some help – remember, take anything I say with a grain of salt, my experience with weddings is limited 🙂
