Have you tried calling dealerships in your area? They may be willing to "loan" you a Bug?
@tksjewelry: The wedding is going to be on the Jersey Shore. However, I live in NYC so would be willing to drive it down.

This is my first time posting on wedding bee but I've used it as a resource for moths. My fiance and I are getting married this June in NJ and instead of going the traditional Limo route for trasportation we thought it'd be nice to drive away in a white VW bug, mini cooper or something equivalent. As simple as this sounds, we can't find any rental places that rent those cars. I've called all the local car rental places but they all say they can't guarantee they'll have that color or model for a day in the future and the traditional Limo companies don't have any referrals for me either. I wanted to see if anyone on the boards had any advice, experince, etc.
