I've made several veils. On some I used some beads (not fancy crystals, but just pearlescent beads from the bead store) that looked great. Total cost was $5 for a whole jar, and I was able to embellish several veils.

Hi Ladies. My cousin has passed her veil down to me to wear in my wedding. It is a plain ivory one teir chapel length veil with nothing on it. I would like to add something like crystals on the edge, but when i went to Micheals to get some they were about $8 for 6 crystals!! At that rate I might as well buy a veil with the crystals already on it. I am looking to do something very simple and classy, but not spend a million dollars since i only plan on wearing it for the ceremony.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas. Did any of you make your veil?
