Hi ladies, just looking for a little brain power if you have time to spare! We are doing vintage centerpieces. Every single table will have a different theme. Here is what we have so far.
Milk Man table – self explanatory, vintage milk bottles, crate etc
Film table – Vintage film projector in middle of table (http://www.amazon.com/Sterling-Home-51-8212-Decorative-Accessories/dp/B003I85H7C/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1344882581&sr=8-13&keywords=vintage+camera)
Telephone table – Very cool vintage telephone from the 1800’s in middle of table
Buttons table – Mason jars of different sizes filled with different style buttons
Opera table – Vintage opera glasses, and binoculars
Lady table – VIntage white gloves, vintage perfume bottle, etc
Stary Night table – Vintage projector, vintage binoculars
Kitchen table – Vintage flour, sugar, and cookie canisters
Vintage records table – Vintage records fanning out in a pile and with a phonograph on top of the records
Coke table – Vintage coke bottles and coke crates
But that’s only 10 tables. We need about 10 more idea tables. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks everyone! 🙂

Bird cage – Vintage bird cage, with flowers attached and paper birds inside.

Books? Hats? Toys (stuff like vintage jacks or dominos, vintage dolls might be creepy)? We used a bunch of vintage oil lanterns. Maybe a table or two of vintage photographs? We had a table devoted to old family wedding photos.

Books – stack some vintage copies of your favorite books
Picture Frames – gilded frames stacked and leaned against eachother, some or all could even have old family photos in them
Sewing – A vintage singer sewing machine and bobbins of thread or jars of old lace
Apothecary Bottles – Variety of antique apothecary bottles/jars

I love this idea! How about:
English tea (tea set)
Traveling (vintage suitcase, postcards, etc.)
Music (old music sheets, an instrument, etc.)
Art supplies (pigments, paints, paintbrushes, palette)
Science (vintage science equipment — microscopes, etc. – can be really beautiful!)
Navigation (antique sextants, octants, maps)
Biscuit canisters (the old aluminum kind)
Mercury glass jars and holders
I also agree with the books and sewing ideas.

My friend just had a vintage themed wedding and she made jam in little vintage jars with the vintage fabric over the top tied with an elastic band. They looked amazing!
