    Hello Bees!

I am getting married in June at an Aquarium. I am looking for unique ideas for a wedding card box.

I thought of using a fish bowl - but was told that the top would be too open. I would love suggestions :)

    Thanks!

What about a fish tank with a mesh top that is secured on? That would be cute!

@Bazinga:  That would be nice. Maybe I should add some sand to the bottom to add some height?

@weddingbound: The treasure chest is also a cute idea - I think they sell them at Michaels possibly?

@TammiDanielle:  You don't even really need a mesh top for a fishtank which might look odd. Take a look at this Bee's post...

originally i was going to have my dad make me a card box, but then i saw this terrarium at kohls and thought it would be perfect for a card box!

i think it would fit in with your theme really well, especially if you fill it with some sand and seashells. it's 50% off right now too!

Ours didn't had a top, but we really liked it. We just put some sand in a basket (I think putting some in an aquarium would be very cute) with a few shells.

We used a treasure chest pinata and cut a card-sized opening on top of it.  The fun part was smashing it after the wedding to get the cards out.
