oh i almost forgot, our wedding is the first day of summer, but i think both combos would work for summer....
For a vintage theme? My gut says pink and gold first, but why don't you combine all three? Pink, green and gold would go well together if you kept the shades of pink and green soft.
only thing with that is it has to be hot pink, lol. we're talking in your face pink, its my fav color. my personality is too loud for light green and pink.
Then I'm saying pink and gold. I have a hard time imagining hot pink and green looking vintage, at all.
You could do shades of pink and gold. Do shades of pink from hot pink to baby pink and then accent with the gold. Like this:

thats awesome zippylef, thats exactly what i was thinking, but i was almost kinda hoping somehow green could be vintage, lol. but the gold would totally make it vintage. thanks so much for your opinion.
There will be more than just the hot pink, like i will definitely include the lighter pinks, but it has to have the hot pink too, cause i love it, lol.
Nope. The board is from http://theperfectpalette.blogspot.com/ . LOTS of good color inspiration on there.
Ours in vintage! and it's peach, pink and gold! But they are all very soft shades...I don't know about hot pink being too vintage!!! The inspiration board above is pretty cute but honestly, I think including hot pink will loose the vintage vibe..What's more important to you--vintage or hot pink?

pink and gold! esp if you do a champage type of gold I think it will be gorgeous!
Honestly, I think either a seafoam green or an olive green could easily fit in with your color scheme.
My colors are fushcia and gray, but I decided that I wanted to include blue too. We're bringing it in through all of our paper products - invites, escort cards, table numbers, signs, etc.
You could work off on that inspiration board below but find little ways to bring in the green where it's no dominant, but it's present.
My vote is definitely pink and gold. My cousin did pink and green for her wedding, and it was just too much color. It looked like a little girl's room. Pink and gold is classy and chic!
I also agree with the pink and gold color scheme for a vintage themed wedding :o)
hot pink is way more important. I mean yea, i love vintage, but if i did a light pink, it wouldn't be my wedding. I'm a very loud outspoken person to say the least. So my personality obviously needs to show through. Definitely been looking around and the hot pink will work with the vintage, since I'm having gold as my other color!
I agree with the pink and gold. You can also add champagne in there.
I love Pink & Green but I think it's more preppy/retro. If you're going for vintage, I'd go with Pink & Gold

so my theme is vintage, i'm set on that. And now i'm having issues with colors! I want either pink and green or pink and gold. Which one do you think fits the theme better? i love both color combos, but am very indecisive....
any imput would be awesome!
