I’m looking for a way to let our guests know that we won’t be having a grand exit after the ceremony so they’re not standing around wondering if they need to stick around or not. I want to put something in our programs to tell them they won’t need to hang around to throw things at us. Something a little more than “you can leave immediately following the ceremony.” Any ideas?

Also, our cocktail hour will not begin for about an hour after the ceremony.

Could you say something like… after the ceremony, kindly make your way to the cocktail hour to start at X time at Y location. or if the ceremony site is pretty, you can say “after the ceremony, we encourage you to take some time to enjoy the site before heading over to the cocktail hour to begin at X time at Y location. That way it’s subtle enough that people won’t wait.
