I decided that I wanted all my girls to wear mismatched yellow shoes and let them look around for a couple months. As the summer ended it turned out that no one had found any and everyone was stressed out by the process! So I decide to pick a pair or 2 for them to chose from. I chose the Nina Elijahs (http://ninashoes.com/elijah-canary-yellow-luster-satin–14104) and the Nina Culvers (http://ninashoes.com/culver-canary-luster-satin–14397) Since my bridesmaids are so different in heights I thought this would be perfect. They all loved the shoes and quickly chose which one they would like. The problem is that the Elijahs are out of stock except for one pair of size 10s. I sent an email and they said they have no way of knowing if they’ll be restocked but they are a popular shoe so they probably will. I decided if they don’t get restocked the new high heeled option will be Nina Gesalyns (http://ninashoes.com/gesalyn-canary-yellow–14285)
I’d be happy wearing the Gesalyns because I love them but I think the Elijahs are more fun/unique/stand-out and I don’t want to wear more boring shoes then my bridesmaids!
It’s been a month and my bridesmaids have plenty of time before the wedding next July. But… I need my shoes this month to get the dress hemmed. My mom is making my dress and there is going to be very elaborate embroidery around the hem so I really need to find my shoes quickly.
So here’s the question: do I go ahead and buy the Gesalyns and let me bridesmaids wait to see if they will restock the Elijahs OR do I buy the Gesalyns and tell my bridesmaids who want high heels to get them too OR do I wait longer? I can’t wait too long!
