Have you seen any wooden bench for rent? If you could just find the seating you could always just rent plastic tables and cover them with floor length linens and create a similar look.
Where is your venue? I wonder if they'd be interested in having them for later. Is so they might be willing to split the costs of having them made with you?
Were you ever able to pull this off? Did you find wooden tables for rent? We are having our ceremony and reception at a farmhouse in North Ga and I would love to have wooden picnic tables..
Thanks for the information! I actually live in Philadelphia so this will be helpful! Could you let me know what a "great price" for the tables would be? I understand the price may differ from what you have, but I have no idea around what they would charge.
Thank you!!

Hi Atlanta Bees!
We finally nailed down our venue, and now I'm thinking about how to outfit the venue. It's in a garden of sorts, and I'm thinking that in order to keep it simple, I'd like to have the ceremony and reception all in one location. Aaaand, to do that, I'm thinking wooden picnic tables. Set them up perpendicular to the spot where we'll get hitched, and when it comes time, everyone sits, has a glass of lemonade, watches the ceremony, then they get fed, all in one spot. Apparently, my mom saw a ceremony like this, and it went perfectly. :)
My problem: I can't find a place to rent wooden picnic tables! I've seen those ugly plastic ones multiple times, but I'm thinking wooden. It would fit perfectly with everything else we're doing. Anyone heard of a place that can rent wooden picnic tables? Or any other creative ways to get my grubby little hands of 10-12 wooden picnic tables?
Thanks!
