Hi Bees! So, I’m hoping you all can help. My wedding colors are a sapphire blue and silver and our wedding flowers are white and green. Our table linens are white stripe. I want to try and bring some of the silver and blue onto the tables. Here are some of my ideas – I would love some feedback or hear different ones!!
Flowers/Centerpieces. We want to have a mix of tall and short centerpieces. My florist suggested using tall eiffel tower vases withs some greens and a single green rose. I found these blue ones (see attached) whch is close to our color. For our short ones I’m thinking of doing groups of 3 vases filled with carnations (greenish tinge not the dyed ones). I’m not sure of puttng a large leaf insde the vase or wrapping a blue ribbon around (See pic)
Table Decorations: I was thinkng about wrappng a ribbon around the white napkin and possibly printing a silver menu card (see the various versons). What do you all think of this? Menu card or no? Other ideas??

I love the short carnation centerpiece idea.

@Jacqi – thanks the carnation idea is from Martha Stewart

I really like carnation centerpieces like this, they look so modern. I don’t think you need to put a leaf in the vase, the stems look just fine.

I actually like the mix of tall and short…maybe I am biased, because my centerpieces will be some tall and some short on diff tables. I also like the blue and silver ribbon around the napkins. It adds a nice touch.

@jordynrose – thanks for the feedback!
@PrncssDva – I agree with you about the mix (I was pretty sold on that and liked the tall centerpieces my florist suggested (Eiffel tower but with clear vases she had in stock). I’m think about the carnations as an alternative to her short vases (which were basically short eiffel tower vases with more flowers)
