Ok so this weekend I posted both of the dresses that I’ve purchased. Thank you all to those who responded.
I am no longer sure about either dresses. I’ve been thinking about purchasing another one with more details. I know that the smart and practical thing to do is to NOT buy another dress. But I want to really love my dress for my big day. Please help me!!!

What is it, exactly, that you are looking for? I gathered you want mermaid, but other than that you didn’t really say.
For what it’s worth, you looks amazing in the first dress in your other thread.

Hi there! Glad I got someone who caught my other post.
I do want the mermaid and worry more now that with a smooth fitting around the tummy may bother me more than I thought once I sit down. So I’m thinking that having more details such as diamond like around the dress similar to a Mori Lee Dress style 2512 or the folds on a Maggie Fiorella may make me feel more comfy.

I think a dress like the Fiorella will take care of the tummy issues that you’re worried about.
But, honestly the dress you have is beautiful! If your wedding isn’t until December then you have plenty of time to lose some weight (I read your previous posts.) Maybe losing a little bit of weight will help you feel better about the way you look in the dress.

You know, I went in wanting a mermaid dress and bought one. (Alfred Sung 6775) Im not a big girl, but I’m also not a tiny girl. After having my original dress on several times, I realized that I was extremely uncomfortable with the shape of the dress and how it fit me. I felt like it accentuated my tummy. I’m now selling it. I bought a 2nd dress. Surprisingly, I went from mermaid, to ballgown. lol. Which is exactly what I said I didn’t want to being with.
I feel SO much more comfortable in my new dress. It’s really worth it to find on that you love and that you know you will FEEL good in. You really dont want to spend your wedding day thinking that you dont look your best.
I guess what I’m trying to say is maybe you should branch out in the style you want. I was set on a fitted mermaid or trumpet and wouldnt even look at other styles when I bought my first dress and that was a mistake.
My first dress
My new dress
See? TOTALLY different.

I see what you’re saying and I will probably go sometime this week to look at a few.
By The Way, I think the dress looked better on you than the model.
Let me know how you’re doing with selling the dress. I may have to do the same.
@ Charm Bracelet…I’m going to try on the fiorella as well and some others that have similar styles. I probably need to stop looking at all these wedding gowns and just deal with the one (or two…LOL) that I already have 🙂

I think you need to STOP looking at dresses for at least a month…even the ones you already bought! Just take a break from looking at any dresses…even online and in magazines! Revisit the situation after you have had some time to really consider what you want. After the the month is up try on both of your dresses again…maybe you will refall in love with one of them. If you still think you need to buy a THIRD dress do not do it impulsively! Try on new dresses, if you find one you think you might like do NOT buy it right away…go back and visit it once or twice before you make a final decision! You do not want to be stuck with 3 wedding dresses!
By the way, I still think that dress #1 looks great on you.

Wow, zippy, I lovvve your first dress. You look smokin! But, if you feel more comfortable and beaufiful in number 2 which is also gorgeous, that’s all that matters. Who was your first one by BTW? I want it now!!
