Thanks bees! I'm living vicariously through him! I helped my older brother with my SIL's ring too, and it's just so much fun! Both of my brothers are great guys, and I'm just so excited that he's taking the next step!
He's a sweetheart too...I was talking to him about how he should ask his girlfriend's mom for permission as her dad passed away when she was a teenager. His response was, "I'm way ahead of you...what kind of guy do you think your brother is??" I'm so proud!

Just a little update! He ordered the ring on Friday! It's going to be a round brilliant cut center stone with a halo of pave diamonds around it, and pave side stones that go halfway down the band on either side. If you want to take a look, it's at the below link, and in the search box, type 4788RD:
Yay! I'm so excited for him! It will take about 4 weeks to come in, but he's already starting to think up ways to do it!

I wasn't sure where exactly to post this, but I'm really excited...so I guess emotional is appropriate!
I'm going with my brother tonight to help him pick out a ring for his girlfriend! I couldn't be more excited for the two of them, and I'm really honored that he feels like he can confide in me on this. He's 4 years younger than me, and he's grown up a lot in the last few years, so I think it's a great brother/sister bonding experience. Plus, I love his girlfriend...she's awesome and very sweet, so I want to make sure he takes care of her in the ring department. Yay!
