Ladies....HELP!! I have a couple possibilities, each with their 'issues'. I really just wanted to find a cute, simple, classic little dress at a store since I despise most bridesmaid dresses, but of course, now that I'm looking for one, can't find any I like. I didn't want to do black, but am having such a hard time finding something, that I'm thinking black may be a cute & classic standby. So here are the options...
#1 Jasmine P39002 (knee length) This one is a netty, toole-like material. Either the sample at the store I went to was defective, or the one online had some serious alterations to look like that. The sample I saw was cute, but the overlayer (the sheer fabric) hung about 5 inches past the bottom layer, well past the knees & longer in the front then on the sides. They said that it can be cut (not hemmed, CUT because of the material) to hit where it should, which I want above the knee. Has anyone seen this dress to know if it really falls to the knee like in the picture?
#2 Jasmine P39003 (knee length) This wouldn't have the belt. But I thought about maybe a bright flower pinned on or ribbon/sash to add a pop of color.
#3....I'm going to JCrew tomorrow to take a look at their dresses. I like the twist tank dress in chiffon. There are a couple of their cotton cady dresses that also look really cute, but I wonder if they wrinkle badly. Anyone know?
