Okay, so, my dress is heavy.
Now here it is on the model (which obviously I will never get the same fit cause she is skkiinnnnyyyy):
I would like my dress to flare out at the bottom and not have it look like it is just hanging there. Now, the pics on me are before fittings so it will have quite a few alterations done (sweetheart neckline, fitted, bustle). In order to get my gown to have more body like the model’s dress should I:
-Just hem it?
-Add some kind of hoop or hoops?
-Get some kind of poofy slip?
If it’s heavy, which it looks like it might be because of the tiered lace, you might have to hoop it. can you try on a poofy mermaid slip to see if it holds up to get the look you want?

I vote for slip to give it structure but yet still maintaining the flowingness (is that a word? well you know what I mean). I wore a fit/flare slip and I thought it made a huge diffrence on how the dress looks.

I say either hoop or crenoline. If its heavy already you’ll probably hate the crenoline, in which case go hoop!

Crinoline slip would be my suggestion. It needs something on the bottom

I would say hoop because it looks very heavy
