OK, so I know that when I go to get my dress hemmed I will need to take my heels so that they can hem it to that hight. But what about later in the night when my feet are killing me and I take them off? How will I not be tripping over my hem all night???? My heals are only 3 1/2 inches but still…

I thought about this too. But I doubt it will be a huge deal. By that time I’m just going to let it drag anyway. Plus are you getting a bustle? That takes care of the back… I’m sure the front will be fine with just a small difference. By then you won’t be walking down an aisle 🙂

Most wedding dresses are gray/black on the bottom by the end of the night, even with a bustle. Particularly if lots of drinks and dancing go down. The drunker the wedding, the dirtier the dress. I say this as a short dress bride who used to coordinate weddings. 🙂 Keep it pretty for the ceremony, but after that, it’s pointless to worry about it.
