Henna is like jewelry for brides...so you wouldn't be disrespectful. They say the darker the color, the more the man loves you! =)
its STILL on... after moving, showers, hand washing dishes etc... i can still see it there...
so my husband must really really love me:) thanks guys I appreciate your input alot! and i thought it was so beautiful, i am seirously considering having it done, probably not the same design or place, but honestly. Its been almost 2 weeks now!

Hello,
First off I am not muslim, I am actually posting here because I am trying to find out the signifigance of henna tattoos in the ceremony and whenever I google anything it usually just shows me pictures of designs, but mostly it brings up muslim and the history, but not the signifigance.
I went to a bridal show and I got a henna tattoo and I love it and I am seriously considering maybe doing this for my vow renewal, but do not want to be disrespectful. So I am wondering what the signifigance is? Does it depend on the design?
Any help with tihs quesiton would be greatly appreciated.
