- Wedding: September 2015 - Diplomat Country Club
Well after a bunch of arguying wedding is back on. Hubby came back to his sense and decided me and our daugther are more important than anything else. Now me and Maggie Divina are having a problem. I can’t decide between Blush or Ivory I love them both but blush is more bold and different but I’m scared to regret it 20 years later not wearing an ivory dress. Help!!!. I was thinking if i get the blush i can get a short reception dress in ivory so i can stop worrying about it. I don’t know!! 🙁

Blush is stunning and matches you so much!

I voted for the ivory. Both look great, but I think you might regret the pink wedding dress thing somewhere down the line.

I didn’t know what you were referring to in the beginning of your post so i went to your other post to get a little bit of a “background”. I can’t believe you had a baby not too long ago! You have such an amazing figure! Anyway, back to the serious stuff, i love both on you but I agree with @Ms.GoodEarth, I have a feeling you might regret the pink dress, too. You can always wear a short white dress or a pink gown to an event but you’ll probably never get the chance to wear an ivory gown/wedding dress again.

The blush is so much softer on you! White/ivory just don’t look that great on everyone, and I think it looks harsher on you than the blush does. You won’t regret something that looks great on you!

im not usually a blush fan but it looks amazing on you

I honestly just think the ivory looks better on you. I also think you may regret it, like you mentioned. White/Ivory isn’t for everyone, but if you’re already concerned and you haven’t even bought it, I would skip the dress regret and go with one you know you won’t regret in 20 years.

For some reason, I just think this dress looks better in blush. I don’t know why. But of course it still looks gorgeous in ivory. I would choose based on what will go with your venue better. I can imagine the blush looking a little strange in a couple of venues, but if it will look just right, then go for it.

I voted ivory. The blush is gorgeous but with a pink dress you really need to “own it” and it sounds like you are already having doubts about how you’ll feel about it in the future. The ivory is equally gorgeous, traditional, and does not come with the same burden that the blush comes with

BLUSH!!!!!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I vote for ivory…it’s timeless!

I voted for the least popular category! My mum wore a dress that has dated awfully but does she say that? No she says she loved her flowy hippy 70s esque dress and realises she looks gorgeous in it! You won’t regret the blush, you look gorgeous but I suggest getting a white ivory dress for the reception as well!! Best of both worlds!

I’m going to be honest here…with a dress like this you can’t wonder what you will regret in 20 years from now, because IMO this style is a very trendy style. So, if you love the blush just go full force with it and pick the blush! I personally prefer the ivory on your skin tone and think the blush looks more like a pageant dress.

Normally I love blush dresses but you look Ah-mazing in the ivory. It is a gorgeous dress in any colour but the ivory on you is gorgeous
