I got married last weekend, and well, I didn’t lose my 10-pound goal weight. In fact, I actually gained weight, even with working out 4-5 times a week (running, yoga, climbing, bike riding) – maybe I need to get my thyroid checked.
Anyway, if you don’t have a possible thyroid problem, here’s some “fun” tips for you before your wedding day:
1) You cannot lose a little belly-fat and tone up in one month just because your friend did before her wedding. Your body is probably closer to your sister’s, and it took her 4 months to lose 14 pounds (she’s petite and pretty “thin”).
2) You will eat a ton your wedding weekend, because you will be surrounded by family dinners, a rehearsal dinner, your wedding dinner, alcohol, and breakfasts.
3) You will not be able to exercise during your wedding weekend, because you will be so busy, you’ll wonder how you got nothing done in the 16 hours you were up.
4) You must suck in your stomach during ALL pictures. You forget, you’ll be sad. Try, try, try to remember even through your nerves while up in front of everyone saying your vows.
