So thinking about christmas…i know already.. but one of the things im excited about is that: now we are couple and i get to send out christmas cards to the all our friends and famliy! But DHs family is large..all boys. and his dad. has a lot of brothers too. So Do i put on there from “the blank family” when many of them are also the “blank family” .
am i over thinking it and should just do it. i was excited to start saying it (fr mr and mrs blank) but there are so many of them . should i specify? A and M blank. idk

I think you are overthinking it.
But, if you are super concerned, I would put Mrs & Mr [DH’s first & last name]

I think it’s fine! It’s exciting to now share a name with all of these people. Don’t worry!

It’s fine! My cousin’s wife and I tease back and forth all the time, “To the Blanks, from Steph Blank!” They know who they are and who you are, don’t worry 🙂

@souza_2005: I would put “First & First Blank” not because of the confusion but because “Mr. & Mrs.” feels too formal for a family card to me.

@souza_2005: We just sign our first names. If you sign John and Jane, I am sure that anyone to whom you are sending cards, knows your last name.
The return address on the envelope, will of course, include your last name.
