I am designing the centerpieces for our wedding. And I want a squared or rectangular box (depending on table shape) with these succulents, this same variety and colors. The succulents will be surrounded by moss inside the box.
And the box will have something on top from where these will hang…
Still not sure about the flowers. Will try in the next weeks. will play a little bit and make some samples. However, I SO want those hanging flower pots and terrariums!!!

Sporty-Bee: These are gorgeous but they will also be $$$. Are you having a sweetheart table or head table? You could do an elevated centerpiece with the hanging vases and terrariums over that table.

julies1949: O.o the site deleted everything I wrote! Grrr.
Julies, OMG you totally got what I have in mind. I want the floating glass terrariums and flower pots to be the theme of the wedding.
I am waiting for a quote for the terrariums from a Chinese provider I’ve used before. Hopefully getting them from the manufacturer helps cut costs a little bit.
I also thought of doing a “wall” with some of these hang in the wall flower pots and having a table on the side with the same flower pots inside gift boxes as favors. Or the same terrariums with a tealight candle. Not so sure about that but considering that culturally people here have a thing for taking the centerpieces with them, that’s not that far off something people might like.
And the terrariums with little plants

Sporty-Bee: That would be so pretty. I once made a wreath with a wire form stuffed with moss and planted it with succulents. you have to take the wreath down to water it but it’s not that often.
This isn’t my wreath but it is similar.

I like it! I agree with Julies though, it is going to be expensive, would you be open to using fake succulents and DIY-ing them? That might save some $. You say the boxes will have something on top from where the globes will hang, what will that be exactly? They might be in the way when people are trying to talk, would you consider using them as a backdrop for your sweetheart/head table or cake? Then you could still have them without them being in the way, and it would likely be a lot cheaper if you were worried about that?

julies1949: that is so SO pretty!!! Tomorrow I’ll visit a guy that grows succulents to sell them. Went to a flower and plant shop but they had very little :-/

MrsTywinLannister: where do you get fake succulents? I want to paint faux succulents for my escort cards but haven’t been able to find them anywhere!
