We had hershey bars for favors at our wedding, although we didnt DIY them.
Ours had foil and personalized cover OVER the Hershey wrapper. No big deal.
We got lots of compliments on ours, your guests will love them!
I know what you're talking about. THe bars seem so much skinnier and the plastic isn't too pretty. How about the bigger bars? Those still have the paper wrapping with the foil.
Did you look at any other candy bars? Just take a trip to the Walgreens candy aisle to check it out. (And if you do buy from Walgreens, wait for a sale. They usually are for $0.49 each every few weeks. Or just buy in bulk from a warehouse store like you said.)

Ok so I was planning on Diying hershey bar wrappers for our candy buffet. Not too difficult except when my dad picked one up for me so I could see the size to start printing them out, Hershey has changed their packaging.
So instead of sliding off their brown wrapper and putting mine on over the foil, what am I gonna do with the plastic wrapper its now wrapped in?
Also, does anyone know if I bought in bulk at bj's or costco if the wrappers are like foil ones like they used to be? If so than I don't have a problem, but if not, i'm open to suggestions.
