Oh. My Gosh. So the other night we found out that his roommate got the security deposit back from their old apartment (it's been 6 months!) and that she's giving all of it to him since he dealt with the landlady most of the time. He was ruminating over what he should do with it-of course, while he was talking I was thinking "put it towards my RING!"- when he finally came to that conclusion himself.
And then he says "Hmmm... I should probably go ahead and order your setting" since we're ordering it from Blue Nile. AND THEN he goes, "Will you ask your mom if she thinks its a good idea to ask your dad to go ahead and make an appt with the diamond guy?"... meaning that he wants to meet with my dad's diamond broker to BUY IT on our trip in 1 WEEK from today.
Y'all, it's coming. Like, super, super soon.
OMG! You must be beside yourself! When we were at this stage, I had to keep telling myself "Don't think about it. STOP thinking about it. You're thinking about weddings and engagement and just STOP!" It was like reminding myself to breathe. But seriously, I'm so excited for you!

thats awesome!!!!! congrats! :) i remember back when i knew my fiance had bought the ring....i knew that it would be sometime after he talked to my dad but that was it. i kept catching myself trying to figure out how he was going to pop the question and had to keep telling myself to stop thinking about it! lol!
So exciting...may the days be enjoyable but go by fast!

He's buying my setting TONIGHT!!!!!! TONIIIIIIIGHT! I got an email coupon from bluenile for 10% off settings and so I told him that I got it and that it expires tomorrow and he goes "Yeaaaaaaah... mind emailing that to me?"
