Weddingbee boards

Hey y'all! Haven't posted in a little while, so brief recap: My BF and I have been together for a year and a half now, been talking about getting married since like week 3. :) The delay has always been caused by money for us (or lack there of I should say), but my biggest problem with the delay wasn't that he didn't have the money (I'm not that sort of girl), but just that he didn't seem to be even thinking about the ring AT ALL.

A lot of these money issues have been because BF has a huge credit card total that he's trying to pay off. A couple weeks ago, FFIL gave BF a stack of money (about $100) just for a present, and when BF started looking through the money he found a check almost totalling his credit card balance!!! He used that to pay off most of his credit card bill and only has a little bit to go. I was SOOOOOOOO excited (for several reasons)!!!!

And then when my BF was a little tipsy the other night, he mentioned that he almost went out and bought me a ring the other day...I KNOW!!! I was super excied!!!...so I asked what stopped him, and he just said, "Well, I have your ring picked out, I just really want to pay off my credit card a little more before I buy it." I'm just so thrilled that he's not only been thinking about it, but has pinpointed exactly what he wants and, in his head, has a relative idea of a timeline (not that he's shared that specific time line with me, but he did say before the end of the year!). At least I know that timeline has moved from "infinite" to "a definite number of credit card payments." :D I was REALLY excited, and just wanted to share the news with you lovely ladies!!!
