haha, ok now that i have your attention… i’m asking this purely because i’m curious. no need to try to figure out what (if anything) i dislike about my FI.
there are threads on WB to discuss things that annoy you about your SO – bad habits, quirks, etc. but how many of you would change something PHYSICAL about your SO? is he a little too short? too tall? bald? hairy? big nose? ears that stick out too much? crooked teeth? you get the picture. i know many people who fall for someone and only notice these things once they become engaged/things get serious. i know others who will not even allow themselves to get close to someone they don’t find to be physically perfect. ie, “i like him, but he’s too short so i don’t want to even go out with him.”
i know we all love our SOs… but would you change something physical about your SO or is love completely blind?

Nothing! I am happy with the way he is.

I wouldnt change anything physically. My FI is a hottie! Great body, great hair, great dresser, smells good, and the perfect height for me. If only he would clean the apartment he would be perfect 🙂

I think you should have an “other” added to your poll. There are a lot of things that I would love to change about my FI, but if they were changed, he wouldn’t be the man I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. The only thing that I can think of that would make a major difference right now and keep him the man that I love would be to make his health better. He has lived a hard life and his job requires manual labor, so he is not as healthy as he could be. We are getting older, so he hurts more from his job than when he was younger and that makes me sad.

@noritake22: good thinkin! i’ll add an “other” option!

Yes!!! I would but it’s not what you think. SO’s chewing is soooo loud!! He chews with his mouth completely closed, his cheeks just don’t muffle the sound at all though? His dad and brother are the same way. Poor guy, he knows it drives me bonkers and he can’t change it. I just make sure we listen to music when we eat LOL.

Of course, if I had to create a “Ken” doll man, it wouldn’t be my husband, but I think for the most part I am happy! If I could change anything, I would change his not-doing-the-dishes habit!

Haha. Well the hairy got my attention. 😉 FI is extremely hairy (and in some places, this is sexy). He has talked about wanting to get laser hair removal though, so I’d totally support it if he did. (Just on his upper chest area and stomach.) Then again, I’d love to get it for myself – I’m so sick of shaving my legs! :p

Nope.Nada. Zip.Zilch. it is his imperfections which make him perfect (for me).
He told me he was thinking about getting a mole removed the other day and I was like “noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I love it! I love YOU!”
then he clarified that he wanted to get it biopsied, because he has a history of skin cancers in his family and he was concerned that it had changed/grown. –which makes perfect sense & I am totally okay with.

I so love my hubby, but feel that he would be much healthier if he were to drop some poundage. He has a lot of extra middle weight, which I know can lead to other problems. I, too, could lose some weight as well!

i wouldnt change a thing, he’s perfect, practically a model!!!
girls literally throw themselves at him, which is a bit tough for me considering we’re in a LDR, he knows he can have anyone he wants, yet he chose me:)
i on the other hand would change a hell of alot about myself:P

Nothing physically, actually. He’s a hottie. And he’s one of the few men who can totally rock a shaved head.
The only thing I wish sometimes is that we were closer in height…we’ve got a 13″ height difference. But mostly, that’s just me wishing I was taller. So I go stand on a step. 🙂

FI is incredibly good-looking. I’m constantly amazed that I ended up with someone so hot.
I’m a little sad, though, that he’s slowly but surely balding. I love his hair, so although he looks great now, I wish I could stop the balding now.
