The stress is getting to me. I had a fight with fiance over something stupid. I’m sick and tired of trying to get vendors to call me back. I almost hate this wedding because of all the ridiculous planning involved in getting a bunch of people lined up in nice clothes for just one damn day.
Fiance would have been perfectly satisfied with a backyard wedding (yes, 90 degree heat in Miami with the bugs biting us would have been just lovely) and a reception at a bar. He didn’t want any of this, and now I feel like it’s my fault for wanting a small, pretty, nice event that is not going to be held in a place with neon Bud Light signs on the walls.
I need a hug.

When everything is said and done and you’re married to your bestfriend, it will be.

You’re in the home stretch, and yes, it will be worth it because at the end of the day, you will be married to the one you love. Right now it probably seems like everything is falling apart but it will all come together and it will be beautiful.
Give yourself a break–take a day or even just a couple hours and call time out on the planning. Go get a massage, go for a walk, take a nap. Take care of yourself. You will feel much more able to deal with the last few days.

How you’re feeling is totally normal! Weddings, no matter how big or small, are stressful. I was so proud of myself at first, being able to make the big decisions so easily and go with the flow on almost everything. Now it’s less than 2 months away and I’m so anxious and feel like I have 100 lbs on my chest. I have so much more to do, but no desire to get it done. It’s not fun anymore. I keep telling myself to smile and focus on what’s most important: getting married to the man I love.
Once your big day is here, I’m sure you will feel like all this has been worth it. Focus on how you’re going to feel, looking gorgeous and walking towards your future husband, surrounded by people that love and care about you.

Thanks everyone! I got a few calls done this morning and I’m feeling less anxious about the whole thing. I just hope it’ll all be worth it in the end. Or we could end up with a hurricane the day of (we’re getting married in the South!).

I feel your pain.
wtf is up with vendors not calling people back? we’re paying them good money and they can’t even return a phone call? for weeks? Sorry to bust in on your rant. just commiserating.
Did you end up getting a hold of them?
