I've been waffling over the idea, mostly because I don't really want to spend a lot of money on a DOC.

Anyone have recommendations for a pretty good one in Knoxville that's not terribly expensive? They'll get plenty of exposure from my recaps and posts, so it's a good thing for them as well.

I am of no help :( I have had a hard time finding one as well that isn't expensive. I just want someone to coordinate the ceremony. I think we can do everything else, mainly because our wedding will be pretty laid back and we're having a bbq reception at our home.

I might try to just find a friend or someone to help.

Hey - Not sure if you've had any luck, but thought I'd mention someone I know. I used to work with Elise when I was in college and we recently became Facebook friends. I saw she's now doing wedding planning type stuff, with varying levels of involvement. Her website is http://thepanacheplanner.com/ if you want to check it out.
