KellyBee1:  Hi! & Welcome to the Bee. I see you have a wedding coming up soon. How exciting! How much do you still have to do?

KellyBee1:  I hear ya! But it definitely seems like youve got a good portion under your belt already 🙂 One thing I would do is set a date for your BM’s….you dont want to wait too late and then your hooped! Do you know what kind of invites you want? What kind of “feel” are you going for in your wedding planning? Whats your venue?

KellyBee1:  Wow! What a beautiful venue! I also love your colors, we are doing something similar (navy, turqupise & white) 🙂  have you thought of grey linens with a sheer silver sequined overlay? I think that could be really pretty!

I love the second suite of invitations better than the more expensive ones actually! There is quite a bit of stationary that comes within that suite so the price is not that bad! We went super cheap route ( single flat card with a picture, important info and wedding website url.) and even that was $55! I wish we had done something like your looking at. 🙂

We also took the “see as we go along” route budget wise for the most part, but I am a bit of a bargain hunter so I do a ton of shopping around before we decied on anything. We have gotten some prety sweet deals this way and we are ok with where we are at for now…. but I know there will be surprise costs and things I didnt think of so we will see where we end up! :p

KellyBee1:  Oh I defnitely think that will be a wow factor! So beautiful 🙂 We are getting married August 9TH this year!  We lucked out as my grandparents own a beautiful old victorian mansion that has been converted into a Restaurant/B&B with gorgeous gardens. So we are saving a ton on the actual venue cost 🙂

We are doing white table clothes with navy blue pintuck overlays and turquoise napkins and turquoise chair sashes with white chair covers.

It sounds like our fiances’ would get along just fine! Mine is very similar in that he never wants to do date night or go out ANYWHERE because “we have a wedding to pay for” ….grump!

KellyBee1:  Oh and flowers! Tons of flowers…we are in a garden for the ceremony! But we also found a lady who actually grows all the flowers used for weddings in the area…i went last summer to check everything out and OMG it was so beautiful I am so excited to have her do ours! White lilys will be my focal flower and spray roses and babies breath…lots of white and greenery…I will have spray roses in my hair. Our centerpieces are birdcages that will have a flameless candle and flowers spilling out onto the table…. 🙂

KellyBee1:  Oh, I love that 2nd set of invitations!  I know it’s not everyone’s thing, but have you thought about DIY’ing them?  That’s basically what that set is anyways.  Just the products for them and instructions on how to print and assemble.  Check out http://www.cardsandpockets.com to get prices on pre-cut paper in those same colors (even the envelope liners), you could probably get it all cheaper.  And if you’re decent with Word, you could design them yourself.  🙂  Just something to think about, since they look doable.  I DIY’d my pocketfolds using supplies from Cards & Pockets and they came to about $2.00 a piece, including postage.

Oh, and welcome to the hive!

ETA: I should add that Cards & Pockets could also print for you, if you were worried about the quality of your own printer.  I didn’t use them for that, I printed at home, so I’m not sure the quality or pricing, but I do know that it’s available.

KellyBee1:  haha, funny you should ask… I might be the one Bee that keeps forgetting to take a picture of her invites.  I will try to remember tonight 🙂
