One of the bees is someone I actually do know from grad school. It was surprising to see her as a bee, because she's not someone I thought as the type to be a bee. It's interesting to juxtapose the person I know with the bee personality.
But I guess that's the reverse of what you were referring to.

I met someone on Weddingbee who I worked with 10 years ago. It was really cool. We re-met because she was selling lanterns.
@mrstye: That is an interesting point. I wonder what people who "really" know me would think of my "bee" personality!
