Hi and welcome! I have been lurking on here for awhile now as well, congrats on your engagement!
congrats! And I'm also a fall 2010 girl; there are a surprising number of us on here.
Howdy... i'm a spring 2010 girl, but i love long engagements... let's you stalk blogs like these longer :)
RelentlessBrideI always get the comment "why are you waiting so long?" from friends and family. I'm sure you can relate that it is SO much less stressful!
I totally agree. Plus, I tend to research everything ad infinitum; having all this time makes me feel more comfortable in the planning process. We're not in a rush at all!
welcome! congrats on your engagement! Don't feel bad about waiting. I have a 18 month engagement. I got engaged July 19,2008 and I am having my wedding now in little less than a year on January 2, 2010! It makes planning so much less stressful, you have so much more time to look at wedding dress (which you will want) and you won't freak out about the small stuff!!! :)
I'm even longer then Miss Bliss and we're date twins!
May 10, 2008 engagement and January 2, 2010 wedding!
I am definitely interested on your opinon of "winter" flowers. My wedding is in Boston and it will be the dead of winter up here! We were thinking of doing branches as part of our "florals" but I still want flowers even though it's a winter wedding!
Welcome! I'm new too! Just got engaged two weeks ago but found Weddingbee before it became official and fell in love with this site.
Although we're still in the discussion stage, I think we're leaning more towards a long engagement of 2 years (since we'll both be in law school). Wishing you all the best and happy planning!
Welcome! Since you are a floral designer, are you doing your own wedding florals?

Hey all. Recently engaged here. Been reading through the posts and everyone seems to be polite and helpful (unlike the knot). Fiance and I are planning an October 2010 wedding. The process is interesting, to say the least, and it's good to find a group of neutral ladies to bounce things off of! I'm a floral designer, so any questions relating to flowers I am happy to answer. Happy day to all!
