I'm not dead, just buried in work! I've ignored all you lovely bees and for that I'm so sorry, so I thought I would do a quick update :)

December I ignored the wedding and thank god I did, otherwise I would be in an institution right now.

Mr. Holiday got laid off, but he is loving it now and is just cherry picking what job he wants (everybody and I mean EVERYBODY is teling him to take like 2 months!!! which has me flipping out, but whateve) So he is happy and is cleaning and cooking, he calls himself "house man" like "your house man has done the laundry" lol

    Ok now January.

I ran off at New Years and haven't stopped, I updated the website and have been doing a decent job of keeping it updated and I'm even blogging! www.teresaanddwayne.nearlyweds.com if you want to check it out.

    This week I've gotten down:

A photographer! first one we met and loved her! She is a friend of a friend and so is giving me a Trash the dress session and having my friends in it and engagment and possibly a photo-booth, free! ... wheeee *dancing around the room* http://rachelrauschphotography.com

2 hours later, we had booked a DJ! Woot First one too, and man are we getting lucky. Just fabulous young man and a great company to work with. http://www.djrt.com/

I have booked the rehearsal dinner (yep photographer is covering that free too), I booked the rooms for the hotel. http://www.monaco-seattle.com

Helped set up the bridal shower

Planned and booked the wedding extravaganza weekend where everyone is being put up in hotels.  We got the rehearsal dinner for free b/c of that! Love connections.

Got all my bridesmaids to agree to order their dresses this weekend, got the rehearsal dinner covered financially.  Thanks Mom for that GREAT birthday gift!

In the process of refiing, which is the only thing that got screwed up when Mr. Holiday got laid off, but I got a promotion and a MAJOR raise at work like the week before, so that's a goddess send ;)

    I think that's it. It's been a busy week :)

    Wow, you have been busy!!!

    Good jobSmile

We just got approved for our refi and what a releif. They wanted a ton of paperwork. I think more than when we first purchased the house, but it was so totally worth it. I hope yours goes as well as ours did for us.

I am busy working on my huge DIY items. I can only hope to be done before the wedding.

Yeah the Refi has been a nightmare.  It started in September and it would have been done in November but then the underwriters all got sick, then got pushed to December and new houses got priority over ReFi's so they pushed it back some more and now I can't do it with Mr. Holiday b/c he is out of a job so we have to start all over with my new raise and hopefully it's enough to do it on my own.  Stupid economy!

Yeah he has gotten two job offers in CA. One in AZ and One in MA but we want to stay here, so now he is going through the companies out here.

He is also tossing around an idea to start his own company, (had several clients call him up after his last day and say they would go strictly to him for Q&A on games) So everybody under the sun is telling him to relax and just take in unemployement for a couple of months and decide what he wants to do for real.  The funny thing is, he is still bringing in more money then me with his unemployement checks lol.

Oh well. I'm not stressing b/c he told me not too :) I did scale back the housekeepers tho to once a month b/c it would make me feel better :)

Edit: Wow that sounds snotty, I swear I'm not loaded, just optimisitc and he hates to clean and I hate fights about him cleaning so we had housekeepers as a compromise (he paid)

Thanks Missjyc! I've been trying hard to keep things looking good.

Update: My Maid of Honor dropped down to bridesmaid (and possibly out) I felt it coming so I had a back up and I figured out my cousin is the same size as her (about) so if she drops out, she can replace the hole. Crisis averted.  I am going to go talk to my Former MoH on Sunday to catch up (haven't spoken in two months)

My new maid of honor rocks! She is a list girl just like me so she brought ot my attention, 5 minutes after I asked her, about invites. Off on a whirlwind chase for invites,  2 hours later (at my desk) I came up with these! (different color combo, obvi.) :)Hi *waves sheepishly* : wedding 57L45

I love them and plan on getting some feedback on them in the paper section. Tomorrow I'm off again, starting at 8am (meeting mom and sister for soccer game, then meeting with another of my bridesmaids (who is doing the invitations) and back home I hope by like 8pm. :)
