I live in Asheville which is about an hour away. I don't know too much about Cashiers but if you're thinking about somewhere closer to Asheville I'd be happy to help!
Thanks AVL! We are booked there for 10-10-10. Right now my biggest hurdle seems to be finding a baker with availability for that day.....I am looking at some in Ashville and have been striking out so far :(
I worked at HH during college at WCU, say Hello to the McKee's for me. Have you looked at places in Brevard, Highlands, or Sylva? You can even go down the other side of the mountain into North Georgia for a baker.
Thanks JenBabe! We decided to go with Short Street Cakes in Asheville (kudos to Miss Snow for the great post on them). We're having a gluten free redvelvet wedding cake and a german chocolate grooms cake that are both to die for. I am so excited to be getting married at HH- it's so cool that you worked there. I am so in love with it :)

We vacation here but have never been to a wedding there. Has anyone used any vendors in the area?
