Just got back to work from my lunch break and my feet are aching!!!!!
I live in Bermuda so the distance I walked today may not be that far compared to the distances in other countries – but DANNNGGGGG my feet are hurting man!
I am an avid heel wear’r (if that is even a word)..lol and my shoes are never lower than 4 inches. (I have “short people syndrome” therefore I need to “look” tall). I am however, aware of the damage that such shoes can do to my feet, but I cant wear short heals ever!

Something that really helps me is taking my heels off when I’m sitting down, so my feet can straighten out for a bit. Otherwise they get all stiff and cranky. Squishy insoles also help a bit.
Maybe you could look into getting some platforms with lower heel elevation?

@shadowedpixie: Ha! I already do have squishy jell insoles in my shoes. Also, I dont like the feel of a platform as they dont feel “sexy” once my feet are in them. Yea I know, im doing this to myself….lol

Have you considered having a second pair when you will do quite a bit of walking?

@AB Bride: This. Just get some roll up ballet flats for your walks. As a short person, I’m assuming you have little bitty feet, and those heels can do major damage!
