My ceremony will be on grass. I have my heart set on wearing my new ivory satin heels. I’m concerned about sinking into the grass and ruining the heels (with grass and mud stains). I have been reading reviews on the various heel protectors (Sole mates, Heels Above. star Lettos etc) but they have such mixed reviews. Does anyone have advice or experience using any of these heel protectors on grass?
Also, what about using an aisle runner over grass to protect my grass from grass stains? Will my heels just puncture a hole with each step?
Please help me think through this.

@WestToBlan: I used sole mates for mine. I realized right after our ceremony(in the grass) that I had lost one!

@WestToBlan: I am not sure of any of those and I am not sure if this could help any but I recently went to a wedding where the ceremony was on grass and the bride along with the bridesmaids where all standing on a thin rock that one of the fathers brought. This isnt the picture from it but I found this one online where they used wood for it.
For the aisle, again one of the fathers had sheets of wood that he placed out that was very beautiful and simple, they weren’t lined up. Sorry for not having pictures sadly my camera was stolen along with my pictures. But I hope this helps out in a way.

@WestToBlan: I bought a set of clear heal protectors from nordstrom for about $9. Haven’t tried them out yet, but they seem like they’d do the trick.
