I still have mine, but as I graduated 20 years ago, I don’t wear it anymore ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve got too many other RHR to wear!

I have mine and I have my mother’s (we graduated from the same high school).  I haven’t worn it in years since I have other rings I like to wear.  Maybe I’ll dig it out for fun this week.  Mine’s a silver blend with a purple stone (my birthstone, a trend at the time), my mother’s is gold with a green stone (school colours).

I never got one. I knew I wouldnt wear it long enough to make it worth it. I graduated 13 years ago.

I wear my high school ring and my college ring every day! (One at a time of course). I wear them on both hands.  Switch them throughout the day because my fingers get angsty lol.

I decided not to get a class ring, and instead we went to a jeweler and designed a 2ct saphire ring in place of a class ring. I had my high school initials and my graduation year inscribed on the inside of the band, but thats it. It just looks like a normal right hand ring, you’d never think it was a class ring.

I never got one. My parents for some reason didn’t think I was going to graduate on time and wouldn’t buy me one.

I have a college class ring, because my family members insisted getting it for me. I don’t really wear it, but it’s not that bad… it’s a more streamlined design than most. But it is still bulky for me, it is a size too large for my finger, and I think the gem is just glass. I wince to think of how much it cost them for what’s probably just glass, but then at least the setting itself is 14k gold (or it might be 10k, can’t remember).

I think they are great if you love your high school or college or whatever the ring is commemorating, but I feel somewhat indifferent about my college. I’m glad I went, but I have no brand loyalty positive vibes about it. It’s just a college, a decent one, like several others. I have good and bad memories about it. My college doesn’t really represent me.

Anyway, I don’t know what to do with it. I could salvage the gold and make it into something else but I feel bad thinking of doing that, because it was a gift, and because the value of the gold is probably much less than what they paid for that ring. i could resize it but I don’t want to spend more money on a ring I don’t really like that much. Sigh. I don’t know.

If you like your class ring, wear it! Don’t let it collect dust for no reason.

I got one of the more “girly” versions of a class ring, but EVERYONE got one in my high school, so it was just what we did. But I graduated almost 10 years ago so no, I don’t wear mine. I don’t know if I ever really wore it, honestly

I have a “girly” one too. The traditional ring was to bulky for me. I wear it every once in a while. It really doesn’t look like a class ring at all, except that it “2004” on it.

I still have my high school class ring in my jewerly box – never wear it anymore though.

However, my parents got me a three stone sapphire ring (with tiny diamonds on the sides) for my college graduation that I wear every day. They knew I wouldn’t want a bulky class ring, so they got one in my alma mater colors (blue and white).
