met in high school. i was completely in love with him but he wasn't ready. there was one kiss, then we reconnected four years later. and its been over four years since then.
Kind of =). We didn't start dating officially until right after high school graduation but we had a thing for each other all of senior year and even went to homecoming and prom together! It'll be 6 years in July!
We are! We were in the same second grade class, went to middle school together, became friends for real in high school, I developed a crush on him, we became a couple during the summer between sophomore and junior years of high school and haven't looked back since! We got engaged about 4.5 years into our relationship and will have been together almost 6 years on the day we get married.
Because we started dating at 16 - I never had one big "he's the one!" moment. It was only after we successfully adapted to doing long distance when we went to college that I started to think maybe he would be in my life in a forever kind of way. I feel so blessed. :-)

We are! We started dating my junior year in high school. We will be married a few months after our 10 year anniversary.
High school sweethearts here!! We waited 7 years, now here we are getting married! Previously, we wanted to get married two years out of high school, but in retrospect I'm glad I waited until I had my bachelor's degree. Even if that meant we had to wait this long! :-)
Mr. Gloss and I started ‘dating’ when I was a soph. in HS and he was a junior. And by ‘dating’ I mean there was no dinner/movies/etc., we like held hands by my locker and hung out after tennis practice – woohoo! We’ve pretty much acted married since we started college; we always knew it was in our future so we just took our time and 9+ years later we are getting married!! We wanted to wait until after we got degrees, and I decided to go to school for 5 years, then we lived together for a year before we got engaged -
We met when we were in 6th grade, and were friends until we started dating after we graduated high school. We weren't exactly high school sweethearts, but we were good friends, he was my prom court escort, etc. We graduated high school eight years ago (yikes!) and it is WONDERFUL having known eachother for so long!

We're college sweethearts, but my parents were high school sweethearts. They just celebrated their 25th and are an inspiration!
We met in 10th grade, kind of through friends but didn't really talk to each other. At the end of the year I wrote my phone number in his yearbook, and bless his little heart, he actually called! Haha, I was only thinking friendship, but after a few movies it was "official". When we went back to school for grade 11, it was totally out of the blue that we were dating... so funny!

High school sweethearts here! We met and started dating when I was a junior and he was a senior. We wound up at the same school and basically have acted married since my soph. year of college (we wound up with dorm rooms next door to each other that year!)
We met wen we were 16, in choir! We dated and broke up a lot in hs and the beginning of college but now i know it's just right! We have lived together 3 years now and I am so ready to be his wife!
Started dating in 10th grade broke up 2 years later and then got back together 4 1/2 years later. Have been back together for 3 1/2 years and have a little boy together. I knew when I was 15 I was going to marry him can't believe it took 10 years for him to realize that since he proposed on my 25 birthday MEN lol.
We met in 8th grade and were very good friends until Senior year when he finally asked me out. I truly believe that we both needed to get the crappy serious relationships out of the way so that we could be ready for each other. All of our friends were like "finally!" We did wait 7 years to get married, though.
We met our junior year of high school in spanish class. We didn't know eachother and he didn't even know OF me! but, spanish is the langauge of love (behind french!) and the rest is history. We will be getting married on our 6 year anniversary of dating! Love him!!!
College sweethearts! Well, Kinda. I was a freshman, he was a senior. Does that count? hahaha
We started dating when he was a junior, I was a senior - in high school. We've went through a lot between then and now, and it all only made us stronger. I'm very excited to be marrying the love of my life! 
Middle School Sweethearts! We began dating (if you can call it that) when I was in 7th grade and he was in 8th. 10 years later and we are married!
We officially met when I was a junior and he was a senior; started dating when I was a senior in H.S. and he was a freshman in college. (Not sure if that counts or not, but close enough.) We ended up at the same college, and no, I did NOT follow him there :)
We started "going out" in 9th grade, got engaged during undergrad, and now, more than nine years after we started dating, we're finally getting married.

yup yup! we started dating when i was 16 and he was 15 (i drove!). we will have been dating 8 years when we get married? does that mean we get to skip the 7 year itch?? :)
Same here... friends/dating? sophomore year, he was a junior. Officially dating since 2001, never broken up, never been happier. my parents and his parents also were both high school sweethearts. It runs in the family.
@JeniRae: thats so funny that your parents were both high school sweethearts!! my FI's parents AND grandparents were both high school sweethearts too!! i wonder if it does "run in the family".. we always joke that it does!! :)

We are high school sweethearts! One day a friend said to me .. hey hasn't he really cute?! And I thought to myself.. yes he is cute, why didn't I notice before! We've been together forever, 10 years this summer, to be married in september, though we've had a few short breaks here and there because more than half of our relationship had been long distance. His parents are high school sweethearts too.
YES! We met in 11th grade and have been together ever since (3yrs) by the time we get married, we will have been dating for almost four years and engaged for two :)
High School Sweethearts too! We met Sophmore year while he was dating a friend of mine. We made it through long distance colleges and just celebrated our 10 year anniversary! I can't wait to marry my soulmate and best friend, in only a month and a half Eeeek!

Kind of. We went to high school together, and he asked me out in grade 10, although I turned him down. Then I had a crush on him in Grade 12, but he had a girlfriend so I never told him. We ended up at the same university and developed feelings for each other very quickly (he had broken up with his girlfriend at the end of high school). We hung out all the time and it was a ritual that every Thursday, our friend and the two of us would hang out and drink (oh, freshmen!), then when it was time for bed, he and I would actually stay up and talk and cuddle until 3 or 4 in the morning before falling asleep together. We never did anything but cuddle. And he thought I didn't have feelings for him because I kept calling it "platonic cuddling" because I was afraid of taking the next step and ruining our friendship. Anyway, we started dating a month before the end of our first year of university. It only took us three years after he asked me out in high school for us to get our stuff together!
