I need some help coming up with wedding favors for the men. We are only having a total of 8 people coming to our beach wedding. There will be substantial travel for all of our guests so i dont want to cheep out on the favors. I think i am going to have custom made necklaces for the ladies. Each with their names made out of the metal. Something like this.
I need some ideas for the men that are coming. Im willing to pay $30-$50 each for them. Any ideas are welcome. 🙂

My FI got a groomsman gift of a Gerber (sp?) tool once- it is like a Swiss Army knife but bigger and more with actual tools. Not sure how much it costs, but it was ultra manly and my FI still uses it all the time, almost 5 years after he received it.

@heathie1: DH and I got “capcatchers” for our groomsmen. They’re basically fancy bottle openers with a pouch to catch the caps.
All the guys loved them (we had them all personalized with their initials) and we even got one for ourselves!
We got the one that has a magnetic back so you can stick it to the side of the fridge (also comes with screws, etc for wall mounting).

Thanks for all of your ideas. I have decided to spend quite a chunk of money for the whole group to go on an all day snorkel/ fishing excursion. I have decided to to scale back on the wedding favors and get one of these affordable cuties from elite favours. I think my guests would really appriciate an excursion over expensive favors.

@heathie1: Our groomsmen are drinkers, I don’t know about yours – but in our case, we’re getting each of them a bottle of their favourite spirit (bourbon, rum, scotch, etc.)
Oh and a kangaroom scrotum bottle opener. For their beers of course.
ETA: Oops, didn’t realise you were referring to your male guests and not groomsmen.. But I suppose a bottle of drink could work for them too!

what about a beach hat for everyone? With bows on the girls’ hats 🙂
Name necklaces would be nice for the ‘maids…
