So I had my final pre-wedding trim two days ago, and also got highlights added to my hair.  My hair has been colored before, but not in a long time.  Anywho....I generally like them, they are pretty subtle which is what I wanted.  BUT there is like one streak that in my opinion is way too thick and bright and it happens to be in the like the worst spot possible because it will be super noticible the way I planned on styling my hair for the wedding.

What can I do about this?  Should I go back and see if they can just fix this one streak in my hair...do you think they would charge me for it?  I've never had a problem with my hair results at a salon before.

I'm not a stylist, but I think it would be super easy to just tone down that one section.  If you express your unhappiness, I doubt they would charge you for it.  I think them charging would be poor customer service on their part.

    I agree with Maggie Mae.

You could also see if they still make hair mascara and have your day-of stylist just paint that one section. Back in the day, they made it in pink and gold and other crazy colors to paint on highlights without giving your parents a heart attack. Not sure if it still exists . . .

It does still exist! Now with the goal of covering gray:

I think if you went back and explained the situation and that you are unhappy with it they would fix without charging you.  Usually, in most salons, if you are unhappy with how something turned out and you go back in within a reasonable time frame they won't charge you.
