I'm glad you posted this, I've been looking into photographers around Chicago and here's a start.
I'm not sure I want to spend that much money, but I will definitely keep it in mind.

Hello Chicago Hive!
On Sunday I had my boudior photo shoot with my wedding photographer (Tao from Lenswork Studio- http://www.lensworkstudio.com/). Today I checked my email and Tao had emailed me 23 beautiful photos to pick from to make the album.
While boudior photography is certainly nerve wracking, the process went as well as it possibly could have (Tao was on time, professional, showed me some of the pics from each pose as we were going, was imaginative with the poses, and the results are BEAUTIFUL!)
Tao is not cheap ($750 for the 2 hour session (we took about 2.5 hours), the images on disk, and a 20 pg album). But (and especially with boudior) I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. The process was wonderful and the images are better than I could have ever hoped.
While he does not specialize in boudior, Tao's work blew me away. It made me even more excited to see our wedding pictures.
PS- I booked a room at Hotel Monaco (Wabash/Wacker) for the shoot- got a free upgrade to a suite - and it was great (has a window sill, pretty striped walls, neat colored furniture, a huge wall mirror) - highly reco also!
