Sorry, I don't have any recommendations for the officiants. Are you thinking of wearing two dresses? One for the ceremony, one for reception? Or are you going to change in between the two ceremonies? Just curious...I'm Caucasian and just married my Indian husband in India last November! We are having our American ceremony in April. If we had been able to have one ceremony, I personally would have worn the bridal lehenga for the ceremony, then changed into my American dress for the reception. (Same with my hubb-were his sherwani, then a tux/suit). The reception will be great since you can combine American and Indian foods, different music, etc. Good luck!
Hi Jenn23,
We're having one wedding day where we're both wearing Indian clothes (lengha and sherwani) through to the middle of the reception. At that point we're going to change into our American clothes especially when we start dancing.
Congratulations on your wedding!
That sounds great. I loved, loved, loved my pink lehenga for the reception! Good luck finding two officiants. I'd recommend our pundit, but he's in India! :)

Hi, I'm a Hindu bride marrying a Jewish man. We're getting married this July and would like one ceremony that blends each culture/religion. We also don't want it to be really long (45 minues to 1 hr at the most) and would ideally like a pandit and a rabbi/cantor to officiate. But we haven't had much luck finding a either. Niether one of us is very religious but we do want to include relgious/cultural aspects of each side. Does anyone have any recommendations for the ceremony and/or of officiants? Thanks so much. The wedding is in the Catskills region of New York.
