@juniperberry101:  Awww lol!!! My SO says things like

SO ” The beach would be a perfect spot.”

     Me ” For what?”

SO – ” You know for me to ask you……”

SO- ” To go swimming, god.”

I didn’t vote because I sort of love/hate it Tongue Out.

My SO has given me a lot of reassurance lately, but the more info he gives me the more curious I become…Ugh.

One of my besties and (hopeful) bridesmaids got engaged this weekend. I was super happy,  but I was just a hair jealous that her waiting game was over.

Anyway, my SO  talked to the new groom-to-be about how he proposed, and groom-to-be described thepimple but sweet proposal. Then the groom-to-be said my SO better be next to propose. My SO just said vaguely that he has some plans… and winked at me!

Oh how I love/hate the hints and mentions! I will just wait, I guess. Like I have a choice. *tapping foot and twiddling thumbs*

This weekend I wore some regular fashion rings I dont normally wear. Just for fun. My SO noticed them and had ants in his pants all day. By me wearing rings (none of which that looks like wedding rings, btw) he got all “in waiting” himself and actually started talking about engagemnt himself! Turns out, he has enlisted the help of his mom  and brother (who live in bigger cities) to help him find deals at local auctions. HE TOLD ME ALL THIS ON HIS OWN! haha. This is  the guy who didnt even like looking at rings with mebecause he was worried it would ruin the surprise. I love hints so YAY πŸ™‚

I hate hints! They always remind me that I have a “surprise” coming, and I am not at all a fan of surprises.

me: I sent you a picture of a ring I really like today, well withing our budget… Did you have any opinion.

SO: Yes, but I can’t say anymore…. or else it will ruin the surprise.

me: what surprise?! Are you going to pop out of a cake!? πŸ˜‰

SO: Baby, I’m just waiting on the ring.

Of course this was last weekend, and he double checked my size a month ago via text… Makes me insane! I hate all this build up, and not having any control lol!

Love, love, love hints! They are what keeps me going! SO does give hints and I write them in my calendar on my computer, so when I’m having a bad waiting day I can go back and read them.

The most recent was a few days ago, we were skyping (he is long distance for a few months) and he picked up his iphone and asked Siri where are the local jewelry stores. Siri responded 10 of them. He then said well I’m going to have to check those out.

Eeeeek. A few days before, he actually told his brother (and then told me that he told his brother) that he was going to propose and his brother said, Finally!!!

We were at a swing dance the other night, and we got on the subject of our wedding because we discussed getting married at the ballroom at which they have the swing dances. A few months back, we were at an antique shop, and we walked past a glass case of rings and I (half) kiddingly pointed to one and said, “The third one from the left is nice…just saying…” We chuckled and went back to browsing the antiques. That night at the swing dance, he told me he went back about a month later to buy it for me, but it was already sold. So I guess it’s a good thing I asked to be put on the waiting list…haha I had no idea he was actually looking at rings and apparently has been for months! πŸ™‚

Needs a “no, and I don’t wanna know!” There are days when I want to be totally surprised.

My SO talks about our wedding and when it will be (next year) and lots of stuff like that…but when it comes to the actual proposal he’s absolutely silent (except that I know he ordered a ring).  I would love a hint or two!!

My SO is talking about wedding, and and engagement all the time, He has told me the proposal will be on a specail day…I guess that means birthday, anniversary, day we met maybe which is all coming at the End of September beginning of October. Since those days are so close it really is starting to drive me crazy waiting LOL. When a jewlery commercial comes on my SO will say Ohhh that’s where your ring is right?? Knowing it’s at another jewlery store. He wanted us to pick it out together so that’s what we did, and that was in April/May. Basically He is loving the fact that it is driving me crazy hahaha. He is making me sweat for it, but It’s all in good fun. Even though I have my days of torture waitng…I know it is coming and I will try my best to wait it out gracefully Even Though His Hint dropping doesn’t make it easy πŸ™‚

It’s a love/hate relationship for me! I know he’s chosen the ring and he says it’s on layaway while he pays it off and I’ll get it at Christmas. I think he already has it and is planning on asking on a vacation for my birthday next month. This weekend while eating with his parents I said everything will be more exciting when, and he finished with ‘when you have a ring in September?’ And I went “WHAT?! Did you just give something away?!” He quickly back tracked and explained his way out of it, but ahh. When I mention my birthday he winks at me and gets this funny look on his face, and my mom mentioned that he’s ‘keeping secrets.’ He thinks it’s funny, but it just makes me feel crazy!
