Oh oh I have a great thing for this!
When my husband and I went on a trip back in 2006 (before we were engaged), I kept seeing weddings everywhere. Seriously, it was a month long trip and I saw no less than 5 weddings! We went out to Chinese one night and my fortune cookie said something about a great suprise coming. The next day, we walked down to the ocean front and I saw yet another wedding and got upset. And he proposed! Talk about hints from the universe!
Haha love it. Glad I'm not the only person that had a "fortune" cookie experience ;)

I don't think we have had anything quite so in your face... although ever since we started dating people have asked us when we are getting married. We were together one month before the first person asked! We get asked a few times a month easily! It gets hard to come up with different answers as to why we are still waiting!
One of mine (I am forgetting all the other fated times right now!) is also a fortune cookie! The first cookie said that all of my patience would pay off and the second said I will have a small surprise in love (ahem a ring!?).
I have a business meeting every Tuesday night and there is a huge billboard off the same exit as my meeting that has a huge diamond ring with the words "GET ENGAGED".. ugh I hate that billboard!! Funny thing is we switched the meeting out to this exit when my and the SO really started talking marriage.
Well this isn't a waiting one, but it goes so well with your fortune cookie experience. On our pre-weddingversary this year I got a fortune cookie that said "This time next year will be very special". I said, Thank you, Universe. My wedding WILL be very special.
Waaay before The Mr and I got engaged I got a fortune cookie that said "All your dreams will come true". That evening we had been talking about weddings! Took him a while to get around to proposing though ;)

I thought we could all share our "random moments" where the stars seem to align and give us a little hope or a chance laugh about this whole "waiting" process.
Ex: I was out to dinner with my SO Saturday night, and our fortune cookies came with the check and I was really called to one. It said something about having a blessed life, with security and longevity. It wasn't mine so much, as when he looked at his and said "my that's forceful!". I ask "what?" - his fortune was "STOP WAITING! Take action and go on that journey!". Haha I had worked at the Bridal Extravaganza (as a vendor) that morning so "wedding" was the mood of the day!
