I got a job that I love~ wait, two jobs that I love, that are both in my field- today!

I am pretty excited bees.  I have worked really hard for this and it is finally paying off.  A prof once told me that you can have whatever you want in life if you prepare for it.  It was a long time coming, but I am thrilled!

I will be teaching at an art school for kids and I will be a substitute teacher there, plus I got a job at the local college as a substitute lab tech.  Pretty excited!

I was unemployed for the last three years (!) while I have been looking and preparing for the right thing for me, so it is a pretty good success story.  If anyone is in that boat, don't give up!

@tksjewelry:  Thanks, tks!  I am really happy.  It has been an amazing day.  I needed this :)  I actually volunteered at both places and that is what got me the job.  I thought the experience alone would be great for me, turns out, it really paid off!

@Eva Peron: Thank you so much!  What that Prof said really is true.  Things will work out if you know what you want and keep taking "baby steps" toward it...

@bestbuddies:  Aw, thanks lady :)  I remember reading that you love your job in Chicagoland, so I am happy to be joining you in loving my job too.  I am so happy I found a job I love!  It will be very challenging... (but I like that)

The kids are A.DOR.ABLE!  I already love them so much, after one day of job shadowing!
