Just met with my day of coordinator and signed the contract so she is officially booked!
I decided last minute that I didn’t want my family and I to worry about setting up all of the DIY projects and organizing vendors the day of the wedding. I feel the weight lifting off my shoulders already! Whew!
Anybody else have/had one? Tell me I made the right decision!

@hollyberry4: You know, I didn’t have a professional DOC, but I really do think that DOCs are the best money anyone could spend, mainly just for peace of mind!

@hollyberry4: I swore after my first wedding that if I ever did it again, I would have a Day of Coordinator. Even with our super tight budget of $5K we were able to find a friendor that we could afford to book for our DOC. Best decision ever!

Mine was one of the first things I did!!! For the exact same reasons the OP listed.
