We’ve been looking for a day of coordinatior but the prices in my area are pretty high. We’re considering hiring someone that is just starting out. I’ve seen listings on sites like craigslist, people that have only done a few or no weddings and offer super low prices since they’re trying to build their buisness.
We’re going to have most things pretty much ready to go, just need someone to execute everything. We’re doing a lot of DIY and while I can leave very detailed instructions on how to set up the decor and such, I still need someone to do it. There is a lot to do and I feel it’s too much to ask of a family member or friend.
Has anyone hired someone without a lot of experience? I’m wondering what questions I should ask to try and determine if they’re serious about this and will do a good job. Also if anyone has any advice or tips?
