Harry Potter lol! I had refused to watch or read anything harry potter related before FI and I started dating but he begged me to watch them with him. Once I watched the first movie, I must admit, I was hooked! :)
The Cowboys with John Wayne. He just loves all those "guy" movies and I usually hate them, but that one was surprisingly good and had a great message.
On Any Sunday. He is all about all things motorcycles, and On Any Sunday is his classic favorite (btw it is not the same as Any Given Sunday, people always make that mistake LoL). It's a cool documentary! I cite it as the tipping point for my taking the MSF course and getting my license.
The Day After Tomorrow, and The Core. He loves his cheesy disaster movies. We have mostly the same taste in film but I never had any inclination to watch those two until I met him, and even though the "science" in them is TERRIBLE, I still really like them both.
FI is a movie lover and he has some odd tastes. He introduced me to David Lynch, and now I love all his movies, especially Lost Highway. Other favorites I didn't expect to love are Dead Alive, Troll 2, and Natural Born Killers.
This is a little different, but I love some of DH's TV shows. Sons of Guns and Dual Survival to be exact. I'm addicted to those two shows.
@GroovyHippieChick: I LOVE secondhand lions. Isn't it a sweet movie? DH wasn't the impetus for me to watch it because he loved it, but because he gets sucked into any movie on TV and I just ended up watching it with him (when I would normally click away).
I have ended up watching every James Bond movie from the first to the most current and loved it.
And all the Clint Eastwood movies!
Star Trek... He is a HUGE Trekkie and I ended up loving the movie, we saw it 3 times at the movies lol

DH watches a ton of foreign films and I never thought I'd like most of them but he has great taste in movies. Too many of them to name!

I can't think of movies, so I'll say a tv show. South Park. Hated it, but now I can tolerate it in a moderate amount. Haha.
i love the underworld series and he loves how i met your mother! but shhhhh dont tell my hubby!
Any and all Predators movies. Especially the latest with Adrien Brody. He's some serious eye candy! ;) They freak me out but I love them.
I actually just got FI into Doctor Who. It's our special show to watch together. =)
